Birkdale South State School operates daily, based on these times:
Prior to 8.35am, students should not be at school unless they are at Camp Australia—Outside of School Hours Care Service or attending supervised lessons or activities. There is no supervision for students on school campus unless it is part of a timetabled activity prior to 8.35am.
Students and parents from Year 1-6 are to stay in the Green Zone (undercover area near the tuckshop and surrounding areas).
Prep students are to stay on the prep grassy area. Students are not to go to classrooms before 8.35am.
The end of day bell goes at 3.00pm. All students must move to their designated pick up areas;
- Old Cleveland Road East, Prep fence
- Barron Road Car Park
- Front of School grassed area.
Any students not collected by 3.12pm will return to the office for parent collection.
