The Birkdale South State School Library is a welcoming place where imagination, creativity and a love of reading come to life!
Each week, classes visit the library to explore new stories, discover exciting books and choose a favourite to take home and enjoy. Students are able to borrow 2 books at a time, and borrow for up to 2 weeks.
There is always something happening in the library, with students enjoying a variety of activities during their break time. You might find students colouring in, challenging their friends to a game of chess, building amazing creations with LEGO or working together to complete a puzzle. Others love finding a cosy bean bag, settling in with their favourite novel and escaping into another world.
Whether students come to create, play, explore or read, the library is a special place where everyone can relax, learn and discover their next adventure!
