Supporting student growth, wellbeing and learning
The Hive is a dedicated space at Birkdale South State School where external therapists, including Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Speech Pathologists, can work with students during individual therapy sessions. The Hive is a bright coloured and engaging space which includes a crash mat, mini trampoline, and other sensory play-based tools to support the therapy sessions for meeting students’ individual needs in supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.
